Stage Direction

Mozart's Cosi fan tutte ("Women are like that") is a blackly comic tale of a bet that gets out of hand. Abbas Kiarostami's production of Cosi fan tutte opened Aix en Provence in France, and went on stage at the London Coliseum in 2009. It used filmed backdrops to evoke the period as much Shakespearean-esque dialogue and seduction ensues and things get tangled and tense.
