Docunight

, an initiative under The Kiarostami Foundation, is a platform where a diverse range of documentaries about Iran have been compiled and screened since 2014. Docunight was originally a monthly screening in San Francisco, CA, and by 2020 it expanded to 25 cities in North America. Most of these screenings were at major universities in the US and Canada, either in collaboration with the university or the student associations.

In 2020, after screenings were stopped due to the pandemic, Docunight started a streaming platform to make Iranian documentaries available online and to a larger audience all around the world. All Docunight documentaries are subtitled in English and accessible to international audiences that are interested in Iran.

Docunight has recently started its collaboration and partnership with festivals and cultural institutions worldwide. The first of these programs is with the Orlando Museum of Art and American University of Cairo, where Docunight will host the film series about two iconic artists features in the exhibition, A Boundless Drop to A Boundless Ocean.
