Criterion Releases ‘24 Frames’ on Blu-ray

Abbas Kiarostami’s final film joins the Criterion Collection. Across twenty-four four-and-a-half-minute vignettes, he animates still images — most of them his own photographs — to imagine the moments just before and after each was captured, bridging his lifelong work as photographer and filmmaker.

The edition presents a new restoration alongside material on the film’s making.
